How Does IPL Work?
An IPL photofacial is completed in about 20 – 30 minutes in one of our treatment rooms. To prepare for the procedure, a member of our team will cleanse the skin to be treated before covering your eyes with special eyewear. The photofacial is performed using a handheld wand that passes over the skin while emitting light energy pulses that raise the temperature of the skin cells just enough to set off the natural regeneration process and boost collagen production.
